John, an undergraduate majoring in statistics and mathematics at Harvard University, worked as an investment banking summer analyst at Lazard. As his high school class valedictorian, John founded the largest high-school student investment club in Texas and launched a start-up business in 11th grade.
An expert in international competitions, John led his high school team to the finals and medaled twice at the Regeneron ISEF international science competition. He also won a top ten spot out of 9,000 students from over 60 countries in the Wharton High School Investment Competition and was a top finalist in the prestigious Tiger Global Case Competition.
At Harvard, John respectively won first place at the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge and the HackMIT Hackathon Y Combinator Prize. He was a principal at the prestigious Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners investment firm. John also coached a Dallas ISEF high school team, helping the team win prestigious prizes and team members enter top colleges.
As a mentor, John uses his expertise to coach high school teams for international academic competitions, assist students in crafting college applications, and develop impactful extracurricular projects.
